“Big Brother” season 26 continues this Thursday, Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT when the houseguests vote in the next live eviction of the summer.

Each week one houseguest is named the “Head of Household” or “HOH,” and has the responsibility to nominate two of their fellow houseguests for the chopping block. In a twist, this season the HOH is currently responsible for naming three nominees to the chopping block.
This week, T’kor became the new HOH. She named Cam, Makensy and Tucker for eviction, with Tucker going up as a pawn.
Afterward, a power of veto competition is held to either keep or change the nominations.
This week, Cam won the power of veto. Cam used the veto to save himself. T’kor then named Angela as his replacement on the block, meaning either Angela, Tucker or Makensy will be evicted.
Julie Chen Moonves will lead the live eviction night ceremony, in which one houseguest will exit the game.
Before the houseguests vote, the three nominees will compete in the “AI Arena” to determine which of the three of them will remove themselves from the chopping block. This will leave only the standard two nominees for the house to vote between for eviction.
Contestants are competing for the chance of a grand prize of $750,000. More than 90 cameras and 100 microphones will capture the houseguests’ every move, 24 hours a day, over the next few months while inside the “Big Brother” house, according to Paramount.
