Os 49 melhores lugares para comer em Miami Beach (2024)

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a luxurious hotel on Miami Beach with an iconic design and a world-class spa. It's popular for its restaurants, nightlife, and poolscape.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful large pools overlooking an amazing beach with included lounge chairs. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Our room was very spacious and new, and the beds were very comfortable. We did find that the AC was extremely strong and it was quite cold, but this seems to be the case in most hotels. The hotel is very large, so you may have a 5 minute walk to your room from the reception. The decor was very classy and beautiful. Would absolutely return for our next stay!!

Unfortunately the Fontainebleau hotel has dropped in overall quality (but certainly not in price!). We stayed at the hotel 3 years ago and really enjoyed our experience there. It seems since covid, the hotel has really gone downhill. The prices are more insane than ever (food, drinks, room rates). Our room felt dirty and was rundown/shabby. The carpet was gross and the nightstands were covered in dust. They really need to renovate their rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, I must note. We enjoyed the pools and the poolside service (the food and drinks are wildly expensive, though). Our balcony door was broken which made me feel uncomfortable the entire stay. Overall, I feel the iconic Fontainebleau has lost its former glory. We won’t be staying here again.

This is a really terrible hotel. I have no idea how it can charge the prices that it does for absolutely appalling service. The restaurants and cafes are all great - great service - lovely food - great wine. So none of this review is about that - just the hotel itself. An hour to get my bags delivered to my room from checking in. No tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms so no means of getting coffee until the cafes open (and then you can have one for $7). A friend’s laundry was lost, and the front desk literally could not have cared less. No late check out - a real pain when you’re travelling on business. The rooms are tired and old. The daily “cleaning” service is haphazard. You can see when reading the reviews on here the downward trend - so interesting to see if anything is done about it. There are so many better options on South Beach for the same price or less. Stay at the W.

The hotel is fine. It’s not quiet, so keep that in mind. At least in summer, you will spend a lot of time standing around waiting. Check-in was 30 minutes, pulling in to valet can vary from 10-20 minutes, waiting for your car to be brought back from valet is 20-30 minutes (45 if it’s a popular time). They say you can call ahead to reduce the valet wait but they don’t answer the phone so you end up waiting anyway. Concierge you end up waiting. There’s just too many people and not enough staff. The best experience I had was actually with the mail room. I had to have a package delivered and they answered their email, got the tracking number, answered the phone when it came in and brought it to concierge promptly. Also, I can’t figure out their incidental holds system. They say they place one, but I didn’t see it on my card. Instead I see individual charges on the card appear, which I guess is fine, but they lump them together in a strange way- like two drinks bought at the same time seem to show up in two different batches of charges? I intend to ask what that’s about but I haven’t felt like standing in the check-in line again….

If you want a family atmosphere with affordable amenities do not stay here! Wish we had checked it out more first. No mini fridge except for THEIR alcoholic beverages and you may be charged if you put anything else in. ALL the restaurants connected to this place are way overpriced. The only good things I can say is the lobby and common areas are fairly clean. (Room cleaning not so much) and the poolside free watermelon water is good.

It's been a long time since I was in the area, back in my days (89-92) we talked about the Fountain Blue as the place to be and enjoy celebrities coming in the area, or just relax and enjoy the place. Today it seems that has changed with the new generations. I'm not profiling anyone, however, I saw people who were dress as if they were back in their neighborhood. As well as I saw people just hanging in the pool trying to pick someone up and see if they get lucky. Fountain Blue it is no longer what it used to be. To be considered as a 5 🌟 hotel there's still much to do. The LIV club was nice and very well organized, despite the one guy's who was drunk and pushing people in the dance floor that I had to put him down. Bouncers should be more attentive to the behavior of the people at the dance floor. The music🤷🏻‍♂️ well it's today generation music and the DJ was good despite it was not my taste of music. Some DJ was to perform but it was 2:30 am and she didn't come out until 3:30 or so that's what I heard, because I left at 2am. Would I come again to the hotel, truly not. I rather stay at another hotel by South Beach on the bars. It is not worth spending so much money for the same thing out the South Beach strip.

Overall excellent experience and atmosphere. It's like a resort with different restaurants, shopping, and attached buildings. Close to the beach and small bay area. The staff is friendly and professional but fun. We had a suite on this visit with a great ocean view. Upscale and remodeled but still had a classy old school feel.

My recent stay at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach unfortunately fell short of expectations. Despite high anticipation, several issues marred the experience.Upon arrival, my friends and I, occupying three rooms, requested to be close together. However, we were placed on different floors and wings despite our prior requests. The room I was given had noticeable dust on the bed, velvet bedhead, and bed stand, which, tired from travel, I overlooked. However, my discomfort escalated when I experienced poor air quality at night due to a severely unclean air conditioner, causing me and my husband headaches and sleep disturbance.Despite multiple requests to address these concerns, it was disheartening to find the situation unremedied until I escalated the matter to the supervisor. The air conditioner's thick layer of dust and the subsequent 1.5-hour cleanup reflected neglect in maintenance, impacting my ability to use the room comfortably. While the efforts of the cleaning crew and engineer were appreciated, the overall experience was deeply disappointing. I believe such oversights in cleanliness and room allocation need urgent attention.I hope this feedback prompts the hotel to improve their maintenance protocols and prioritize guest comfort to maintain their esteemed reputation.(Attached are pictures with big pieces of dust that were taken on different days)

This is not a five star hotel. We stayed here for a weekend and didn’t enjoy a minute of it. We had to wait over an hour to get into our room. The A/C didn’t work well. The bathtub wasn’t cleaned. They upgraded our room for a nicer view which was nice. But the fighting by the bar, loud music coming from the pool as well as the smell coming from being right on top of the kitchen fans was very not enjoyable. We had to RENT a fridge to store our basic necessities and it didn’t even work! We had to find out in middle of the night when it was still warm. Overall very overpriced. And not a good hotel or experience.

Stayed for a conference and brought my wife with me for a short getaway. Really enjoyed this hotel as well as the room. My wife was able to enjoy the pool. One thing that could use some work is the service. While the front desk crew was fantastic, there are other parts of service that were lacking. For instance I ordered ice to my room twice and never got it.Would love to come back next time I am in town.

This is not a five-star resort. We stayed there during the long weekend, and it was a mess.1. We were offered a room next to the 1950 elevator. You will hear the elevator every 5 minutes throughout the night. It makes you feel like you are sleeping in the NYC subway station. I called the help desk and they promised a better room for the rest of the stay (4 night stay), but never happened even after talking to service desk multiple times.2. NOT A PLACE for family. Cigarettes and smoke everywhere. Not for nonsmokers or families with small kids.3. EXPENSIVE. A coffee will cost you ~$9. Food is expensive but pretty ordinary.4. Make sure to review the post-checkout bill: We were charged a late checkout fee even though we had checked out on time and left the key. After contacting customer support, they asked us to dispute the charge with our credit card provider.STAY AWAY; THERE ARE MANY NICE HOTELS NEARBY.

Location of the hotel is perfect, just beautiful. Service is not good, there was a locked shared door between our room and next door, and apparently they were hotboxing in the room and we got all the smell and I called the guest service and they said the manager is going to call me in a minute and that never happened. we asked for towels and it took one hour for them to bring them to our room. Room was small, no fridge space available, no coffee machine. hotel lobby and common areas are clean but pools are super dirty.

Outstanding experience! Traveled in for work and stayed in an oceanfront suite. The one bedroom was perfect as I had to conduct business interviews in the front part of the room, and was able to close the door and keep my living space private during working hours. Amazing view and my only desire would’ve been to be in one of the newer towers or closer to the restaurants and pool; I was in the Versailles tower. Lots to do on grounds. People are very helpful. So much great people watching to be had. Will be back!

Brent K — Google review

Frustrated with the overall experience. The grounds are beautiful and full of energy but the service and prices are insane. I called to check on late check out and was told I had to call back in the morning of the day I check out..why? A 3 star hotel provides this service - no problem. You can’t have food delivered from any of the restaurants (which are overpriced) and the room service is terribly overpriced for back kitchen bar food.I called guest services to see if they could send up some complimentary water bottles. They transferred me to dining services who wanted to charge me $16 for a Fiji water or use the $10 waters in my mini bar. This is not 5 star service. A room with no bells and whistles costs $900 and there are absolutely no perks to paying $900. You’re far away from south beach night life and paying higher than south beach night life. This hotel is for the Rich and Dumb who care about appearances and not about luxuries. Will not be staying here again. Although, I may use their spa services if I feel like using their pool amenities during the day.

Lindsey F — Google review

The good: great location; great pool; excellent views from each rooms’ patio; and access to the beach. The ok: helpful but disengaged staff. They do just enough that you won’t have a complaint, but don’t expect them to go the extra mile. The spa: it has some excellent water spaces, but is clearly showing it’s age here and there and no one enforces the no camera rule. I’ve never seen so many people take photos of themselves in a spa.The bad: the rooms. Very dated. The iPhone clock had the original charger and that alone gave you a sense of how long it’s been since the hotel has taken time with their rooms. To be fair, maybe some of the other towers have been updated, but I didn’t get that impression from other guest. The bathroom is small and there is an ancient TV that had started rusting in the corners. In the morning the water pressure would go up and down when I took a shower. The bed and linens are good, but don’t make up for the loud AC or the patio door that seems to never want to stay closed. All of these would be fine at a lesser hotel, but given the status and price of this hotel one would expect a lot more luxury and quality.

Hotel is nice - not 5 star though. At best it is 4 star. You are paying for the location, not quality or service. The rooms are nice. The beach is lovely. Lots of great nightlife. Hotel food including room service is at best average. Service staff is not very accommodating - from bell desk to the servers and the front desk. The employees are not providing 5 star service.

Sheryl C — Google review

We took a quick girls trip. The location was great and the rooms were clean. However, the first impression is always the best and upon arrival customer service is seriously lacking. The person barely greeted us, asked for my credit card and sent us on our way. The coffee shop staff was a way better experience. I would recommend training the front desk staff to do what what they're their to do, provide good customer service and a friendly face.

This place is so beautiful. Right on the gorgeous ocean with a million pools, restaurants and shops, you can essentially stay here the entire time and have a great trip (if you have enough money). Some tips—all tips are included (for sit down meals, coffee shops, bars, etc) at 20% so anything above that is still welcome but don’t accidentally tip half the cost of your meal like I did the first time. Fridge is extra money so don’t open it unless you’re okay being charged. You have to flag someone down at the pool or beachside to get a chair cover and towel. They’ll approach you for drink and good service if you look like you’re going to spend some money and tip, otherwise you have to seek them out. You need a wristband for weekend pool access and they’ll search your bag. Pool closes around sunset and opens sunrise. Have fun!

This place is popular due to the history and size of the resort but severely lacking in quality and service. I’ve stayed at a number of 5-star properties throughout the US and Europe and Fontainebleau is squarely at the bottom of the list.Rooms: 3.5/5 - Decent rooms and balconies are nice. Housekeeping is efficient.Service: 1/5 - The worst aspect. Employees in general do not seem motivated to provide great service, and many are lacking in training. Some can barely speak English despite being in customer-facing roles.Amenities: 0/5 - No in-room coffee, no bottled water, basically nothing is provided, even if you ask. There is also zero shopping on the property - you would expect some kind of general/pharmacy store for emergency last-minute travel items. Requested a fridge and cost is $100/wk.Food: 3.5/5 - Hakkasan and La Cote are decent options for food. But not many other restaurants on the property in general.Resort/Pool: 4.5/5 - By far the best part of Fontainebleau. Great poolside service, drinks, and atmosphere. Pools are nice and the gorgeous beach is right next door.

So.. love this place because you have everything you need right here. Pool is amazing. Beach is steps away. But.. we had our babysitter come over and she left at 4 in the morning and instead of calling the room they made me get out of bed to show them my ID. And the manager acted like he didn't care. So don't be back..

Stayed for 2 nights. If you’re looking for a quiet stay some place this isn’t the best option. The hotel is pretty active around the clock. Club Liv is within the hotel too. Get ready to spend! It’s about $25-30 for a drink. A bit overpriced. Rooms need a little upgrade. I ended up changing rooms because my first room hot water and heat wasn’t working. I’ve read other reviews about guest hot water not working properly. Even tho it was Miami during the time I stayed it was a bit chilly. Overall my stay was okay. I probably won’t stay again.

Best resort in Miami Beach. Beautiful rooms and restaurants. Mirabella was the best restaurant that we tried. Old Italian feel with delicious food especially the Caesar salad.Resort is right on the beach. Plenty of pools and bars right on site. Honestly, I like the main pool better than the Arcadia club. I felt the bartender at the main pool made my birthday special. The staff was accommodating.Yes the resort is pricey but you get what you pay for and when in Miami you don’t want to cheap out.I would stay here again and again

Location is right on the beach but will require a car or a rental bike in order to get to where most of the restaurants are. Parking is not included but has valet available that ranges from $50 to $80 per night, pending if “events” are taking place. The hotel’s features and attractions are plentiful, all packed within palatial architecture that would leave an Arabian prince in awe. Even though they are a 5 star hotel, they do lack a luggage scale on their premises which may leave some folks inconvenienced so just make sure to bring your own.5 stars go to the security team along with Fred, Gabe, George and Pedro who work the beach. You guys were stellar.

Chris B — Google review

Beautiful hotel located on the beach. Lobby is fantastic with valet parking. Noise in lobby in evening is high but does not travel upstairs. Pools lovely, staff helpful and no issues getting loungers or umbrellas. Had issue with ac but front desk staff changed room with no issues. Trying beach facilities tomorrow now rain settled. Nice selection of pools including children's pool and slide. Direct access to beach and staff found loungers and towels whether on beach or at pool. Bike hire easy to use for the w hours free, get the code from reception before hire. Didnt get to use the free paddle board or kayak as too rough but used the banana boat.

I am very disappointed at the shady hidden fees that they don't tell you about. When checking in, we were told that there's a $50+ / night resort fee per night. We weren't told about the valet parking that was about $70/night until we're were checking out, and all the manager offered was a flimsy apology. The service wasn't even that great for what they were charging. Most of the time, we were waiting for at least 30 minutes to pick up the car. We asked to have the mini bar removed from the room, but there's also a fee for that that we weren't told about either, which I think is ridiculous. For a 6 night stay, we were offered one complimentary cleaning, even that was a task to get as we had to request it several times. Please save yourself from great disappointment and book a room elsewhere. There are other hotels more worth the money than this one. The only good thing about this hotel is the location on the beach, but there are others with the same views and way less of a headache.

N I — Google review

Great stay except for valet service. If you valet and go out of the hotel at night on a Friday or Saturday night, it will take you forever to checked in upon returning to the hotel because of hundreds of people trying to get into the nightclub and all using valet.Management should allow hotel guests to return their cars at departures so they don’t have to deal with the aggravation of having to wait forever to be able to return to their rooms. In my opinion, hotel guests should have priority to nightclub guests. We will be walk soon.

J B — Google review

Not sure why the hotel is considered 5 star, the rooms are pretty standard and the service was lacking. The walls in the halls were heavily dinged up and the TV wasn’t working. As far as service, the employees were friendly and the doormen were helpful, however the pool service was not on par with other 5 star hotels (it took a while for them to check on us and we were not even given any waters) and there was no night time turn down service. Not a big deal, but these things seem standard at other 5 star hotels. If you’re going to splurge for a special occasion, there are other nicer hotels in south beach i would recommend.

This place is VERY fancy! Room service was very quick to please any requests we had (extra towels, extra shower sauces, that sort of thing), and the employees were very kind with any questions we had. I really liked the atmosphere from the people who work here, they did not make anything seem inaccesible or silly to ask about. The only "complaints" I would have is that the heating/cooling is VERY noisy in the room, with lots of little rattling. Think of the noises when your house is settling for the night, but like...constantly. The toilet also flushed like an absolute explosion, and didn't work every time (like it made the explosive noise, but no flushing). So don't flush when your roommates are sleeping! But other than those two things it was really fun.Loved the marble everywhere, and general air of the lobby! The rooms should have more 1950s decor for all the 'claim to fame' advertising, I think. I wish the food offered was a little more varied and had more friendly open times; it definitely seemed more expensive than it was worth (but that's just my cheapskate opinion).(I should say the only reason we stayed here was through a free get-away work reward trip; it's doubtful I would consider spending this kind of money on a place like this on my own, but it was a nice treat to experience.)

I had a great experience at this hotel over the weekend. I just want to say a big thank you to the overnight manager LOVE for taking care of us and upgrading us to one of the best rooms. Ana at the steak house was very friendly. If you are looking to have a great time with your wife, girlfriend, or friends this is the place. They got everything in one spot. Pool, beach, restaurants, one of the best clubs, spas, ice cream shops, coffee shops, and bars. Customer service was amazing. Yes, everything is very expensive but it's simple if you can’t afford it don’t go. I love it and can’t wait to go back again.

Beautiful place. The view was amazing and balcony super roomy. Room very clean with everything needed if you wanted to cook dinner in your room. Mini bar well stocked but that's the way it stayed 😂. If you don't know about mini bars by now your sure to find out the hard way. Freindy efficient staff, would definitely stay there again.

One of my favorite hotels of all time. The service here is amazing as someone is always there to answer my questions. The rooms are very nice and clean and make for a perfect vacation. My boyfriend and I love staying here for occasional get aways. Only thing is the drinks and food are very expensive but it’s Miami - what do you expect. Also wish the pool stayed open later hours.

Beautiful hotel with Ocean front views. The staff were hospitable and very helpful. My room was a two-bed stateroom in the Versailles building with decent amenities, however the toilet flushing was like a hurricane at hit the room and very small counter space. It was a long walk to and from the front desk. The main bar had some amazing drinks. I would of provided 4-stars if the bathroom had not been such a small space and the toilet did not shake so much. The hotel is quite large, so expect to walk to the departures section of the hotel when expecting to get picked up.

Lorenna — Google review

This hotel is overpriced for what they offer. My room was a basic room with zero amenities, no fridge, cups or coffee maker. I listened to street traffic all night long, honking, peeling out and sirens. The noises coming from the other rooms and hallway is equally bad with loud toilet flushing, yelling and doors slamming. My shower wasn’t always hot and twice i took a lukewarm shower. The outlet in bathroom didn’t work for the blow dryer. We had at large group and two of the other ladies had soaking wet rugs for an unknown reason. Be prepared to walk, place is huge and a bit confusing. The beach was unimpressive and under construction (building a bar on the beach).. large excavator beeping for hours!!! For the most part staff was kind (housekeeping very nice) but others clearly didn’t want to be there. The air conditioning in the room is terrible. I bought a medium iced coffee and A can of soda at the cafe and it was $16.85. Front desk was a long wait. Not impressed, couldn’t wait to leave and I will never return.

I came here with my girlfriend to visit another friend. I will be honest that the room was beautiful with ocean front view and me and my friend also got spa services which were lovely. In total for 2 days, my friend who we were visiting spent over 5K between the room and other services we ordered. My issue is with valet; mind you we come here all the time and I’ve never had this issue before. To make a long story short, when I went to pick up my car WHICH HAD the room # and all the information on it, valet asked me to pay for it instead of charging it to the room. My friend always tells them ahead of time to charge my car to his room. I’m writing this complaint because it’s the principle that my friend spent over 5K in less than 48 hours and when I called to explain the situation you would think they would give me a courtesy refund. Not to mention that the other cars were charged to the room no problem. But no, they were extremely unhelpful. It was the lady who was working the valet desk and she was having a bad night who decided she would give me an attitude and take her frustrations out on me. Me and my friends will never use this hotel again. There are plenty of other nice hotels in the area that are not going to nickel and dime you after you spent over 5K in 2 days.

Great location, nice and big hotel… This place has everything- most popular bar and night club, very good swimming pool area and beach, they participate in Miami Art Basel and playing important role in city culture and events.I can only suggest do not take a rooms with views on city and bay, cause there’s entrances to the night club and bar, so it can be loud at night. There are queues of cars and people coming non-stop until 2-3 am…

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The service was exceptional and always with a smile, whether room service, at a restaurant or by the pool. The location is upscale and peaceful with the exception of the LIV crowd which attracts both stars and skanks- we steered clear. The beach area is nice and easily accessed- though we preferred the pool, especially due to recent shark attacks in the state. You are required to show your room key or wristband to access privileged areas. I appreciate that level of security to maintain the sanctity of the grounds. One person did somehow get in and jumped in the pool wearing a backpack filming the entire time- perhaps a prankster. He was quietly removed. The artist Ashanti was staying there and from some cars and security there were definitely wealthy people from all over the world staying at this historic and upscale resort.

Hotel was beautiful and clean! Smooth check in and out! Thanks to the great front desk assistance manager Mert. Staff were friendly and helpful! The experience I have encountered during my stay at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami has been disappointing so far.First and foremost the prices have gone up exponentially in recent years and unfortunately quality has not followed that trend. Our first impression of the hotel was a long line for checking in, thats fine for checking in but when your key card doesn’t work and you need it fixed, you’ve gotta wait in that line all over again. This was my experience at the front desk, the staff however are very friendly and helpful. The room does not feel like a “Deluxe” Room which the name implies, the shower head was broken and kept sliding down during a shower I had, the TV in the bathroom does not work and is filthy (Just remove it, there’s no point in having a non functioning tv). However the room itself is alright, not a deluxe room, just a normal room with two beds that were decent, again nothing deluxe about this room. The door to the balcony is broken and is incredibly hard to close, for the prices we are paying, I’d expect a functioning room without damage. The air conditioning shuts down at times, not sure if it’s because the room is at an optimal temperature or if the door is causing it to shut off. The air conditioning is also loud. The gym was nice though, pool was cool and the facilities are overall excellent. The room however was disappointing.Hopefully these problems won’t ruin the rest of my stay.

Staff were great and so helpful. I had a knee scooter and signage isn't the best for accessibility but staff are usually around to ask questions to or assist. Rooms were very clean and great views and having a seat in a standup shower when you have a broken foot is great. Bed was a bit soft for my taste but that's about all I can complain about.

Beautiful hotel with great service! Great amenities. The fitness center needs maintenance. The food and beverages are way overpriced, but it’s expected at a hotel like that. It’s an ocean front property. Lots of lounge chairs. Bike are available for riding for guests of the hotel (you’d have to download an app, but the first 2 hours are free). The pool area is incredible with great music (if you like dance and house music), and staff members are wonderful. We fell welcomed and taken care of! We love it! Highly recommend this hotel!

*** Update**Attention, visitors, I feel it's necessary to express my concerns and bring to your attention an alarming issue regarding vehicle security at this location, particularly during valet parking services. Unfortunately, I experienced this firsthand when my DJI Osmo Pocket and microphone were stolen from the backseat of my vehicle. These devices were crucial to my daily activities.Sadly, my attempts to seek assistance regarding this matter have been met with silence. It's disheartening not only to have lost personal items but also to have incurred additional expenses, including the $73 I paid for parking during a meeting.I'm sharing this review to warn you and urge you to be cautious when parking your vehicles here, especially when utilizing valet services. It's vital to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to safeguard your belongings. It's disappointing to hear that even after reaching out to the special services, security, and lost and found department and their valet services, they were unable to assist with the situation. No one takes responsibility! This lack of support further underscores the need for increased awareness and precaution regarding vehicle security at this location.See how the hotel responds; they just don't care. A police report was filed!

The hotel itself is beautiful. Although, quite expensive once you are on the resort itself. Our last few days were ruined. Both my husband and I went to the Cote restaurant on resort for lunch last Wednesday. We gave our card to the waiter and payment was processed, no issue. A few hours later, we received notification from our bank of suspicious activity on our credit card. There was 2 additional separate charges of total 2000$CAD from the same restaurant at 5:30pm right before closing time. For reference, we left the restaurant @ 1:30pm. We could not believe this could happen at such a reputable hotel. We have yet to hear back from the hotel itself with the claim I put in. Very upsetting and we ultimately felt we could not trust the hotel/staff for the remainder of the trip. Do not recommend.I am sad to write this review as I enjoyed my experience up until this point. But I feel people should be aware of this issue as it can happen to others and go unnoticed.

This was definitely the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed!! Service was awful!! There was not enough beds and umbrellas on the pool for everyone and you had wait in the heat for 15 minutes for one of the guys to open the shade(if you were lucky to find one)! Everything was overpriced!! The AC in our room broke and they wanted to change it right in front of us instead of giving us another option!! We asked for help through the phone and they hung up! Rooms were never fully cleaned! Some of the employees were ok most of them very rude! Payed 80$ a night for valet parking and had to wait 50 minutes for my car! Lost all my reservations and no one seemed to care when we complained!! This resort is not worth a penny! Never coming back!

Never book this hotel again! The carpet was wet in our first room. When we changed the room, we left 2 pairs of shoes and a dress in the closet. We asked the staff to look for them, but all of them were lost! These clothes were worth more than 500 dollars.

Had the opportunity to stay at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach during a visit to Florida for a conference. The staff is wonderful. From the gentleman that assist with luggage when you first arrive, to the staff at the check in desk, housekeeping, and all the staff at the bars/restaurants/etc…. they all made me feel welcomed. The hotel is in a prime location with direct access to the pool. The location had multiple prime and more casual dining options. My room (15th floor) had a clear view to the ocean. It was so spacious , which I love. Definitely no room to feel cramped. I highly recommend staying here if you’re on vacation in Miami.

We have stayed here a few times and the experience is always spectacular. Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, luxurious pools across from the beach. Make sure to try the Mediterranean inspired restaurant near the pool and the casual dining below the nightclub. I also recommend that you read up on the history of the hotel....such cool stories.

I recently stayed at the Fontaine Bleau Hotel, and it was an impressive experience. The resort is large and luxurious, with a well-organized arrival and departure system that made coming and going a breeze, noticeably reducing wait times. The abundance of lawn chairs at both the pool and the beach meant I always had a spot to relax and enjoy the sun. The service at the beach was exceptional—attentive and quick. The rooms were spacious and offered all the comforts I could ask for, contributing greatly to my overall satisfaction with my stay.

We stayed at the resort for 2 nights and I was a little worried because of recent reviews on the place. But upon arrival everything was clean and updated. Prices were definitely on the higher end but what do you expect for an high end resort? We stayed in a suite that came with spa passes and we highly recommend that! Everything was very clean, nice, and convenient!

This hotel is truly just not equipped to deal with the amount of guests that can/do stay here. Ridiculous traffic to get in, the longest check in line I’ve ever waited in, and seriously astronomical lines and crowds to get out/pick up from valet. My colleague spent 2+ hours waiting to get her car from valet, this is not an exaggeration! I’ve never seen a “luxury” hotel this mismanaged from a service standpoint. Unfortunate because otherwise the rooms were nice w/ beautiful views, and the restaurants onsite were great. But I simply can’t look past the abysmal service and I would never choose to stay here again.

Do NOT stay here me and my husband started seeing baby roaches then later we ordered dinner as the cart sat here a bigger roach must have came out of it and at the point was crawling on my bed…..immediately called guest services because that’s disgusting as hell. As much as everything cost here you would think roaches wouldn’t be in here!!! The man I talked to I guess he was going to do something but we never heard back!!!! This sucks as this was our first time to Miami and I should have read the reviews…. The only thing that saves this place is the closeness to the beach that’s not overcrowded the pools were nice and the staff who would bring our food was nice but do not stay here if you do check all your luggage and shake!!!!

This hotel is definitely not my cup of tea. It is trying hard to be a luxury hotel but is really a cavernous convention center that was in it hay day when Sinatra was in his. This hotel lacks intimacy, beautiful quiet spaces, and anything complementary to make a guest feel special. I would classify it as a money grab. I love waking early and going downstairs to have a nice quite cup of complementary coffee in the lobby or library. There is no complementary coffee and no quiet lobby and no library. The music is blaring in the lobby at 11:00 pm and still at 6:00 am. If this is your thing...enjoy, however I am sorry we chose Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

We had the most fantastic room. The views were astounding. The ocean was on one balcony and Miami on the other balcony. The room was a suite with a separate bedroom and the kitchen had a stove full refrigerator, microwave and a washer and dryer. The bathroom had a spa. The restaurants were 5 star restaurants. The grounds and pools were beautiful and you hang out at the beach. Which was right there.

It was a great stay for the weekend. The room had an amazing view. Location is great, there are many restaurants within the hotel itself and plenty of pools and bars around.

This is not a five star hotel; it’s a four star. The rooms are adequate, but not luxurious. They have a ghastly picture of a chateau on one wall. The bathrooms are nice, and the rooms are quiet in the evening. We went to the beach and we were seated on the second row of jammed together beach chaises with a peek a boo view (about 1 foot) of the ocean. If you like loud & glitzy, their pool area is the place for you. However, you may suffer from hearing loss after the experience. The music was over the top loud. They have numerous employees around the pool area mostly keeping non hotel guests out. On the whole, the hotel isn’t luxurious, and thus, not a five star experience.

- The Fountain Blue, once a beacon of prestige, is in need of rejuvenation.- a decline in the overall condition of the property.- Customer service has unfortunately fallen short of expectations, with reports of rudeness and slow service.- The expansive pool, while impressive in size, requires attention and renovation to restore its allure.- Elevators are in need of maintenance and modernization to ensure smooth guest experiences.- To reclaim its former status, the hotel may consider adjusting room rates to align with enhanced quality and service standards.- A comprehensive renovation plan could breathe new life into the property, elevating both aesthetics and functionality.- A fresh approach to staffing, including thorough training and perhaps restructuring, could revitalize the guest experience and uphold the hotel's esteemed reputation.

I recently had the pleasure of being hosted by Paloma, a fantastic bartender at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, during the game between Argentina and Colombia. The experience was nothing short of amazing.Paloma's vibrant personality and exceptional bartending skills made the event unforgettable. She expertly crafted delicious cocktails and ensured everyone was having a great time. Her enthusiasm and energy were contagious, and she managed to keep the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the match. Not only did Paloma create a lively atmosphere, but she also demonstrated excellent customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone felt welcome. It's clear that Paloma loves what she does, and it truly shows in the way she interacts with her guests. If you're ever at the Fontainebleau Hotel, make sure to stop by and see Paloma. She's sure to make your visit a memorable one!

If you are looking for something semi-upscale and to pay through the nose for everything, this is your place!1. parking is almost $100/ day2. Cabanas/ pool side seating on a round couch $600-$1500/ day3 On beach $30-200/ day for umbrella or cabanas4 Food-- outrageously priced5. Adult pool, pay about $40/ per drink on the average6. You will wait forever for your car to be brought from valet7. Rooms are nice, not large very averageStaff is friendly and accommodating but in the small boutique shops or coffee shops, not so much!It was ok, we will not return.

The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. It has easy access to classy restaurants, the beach, and pools. It is definitely a full resort experience. You don't need to go anywhere else.

Nice room with phenomenal view, but door to balcony leaked water leaving carpet soaked. Great pool, nice gym, awesome location steps away from the beach, superb bar and hotel lounge area, and concierge and front desk service was superb. Expensive valet ($75 a day) that was extremely slow with retrieving the vehicle

EUGENE J — Google review

Very disappointing visit for the price paid. This is not a new hotel, as such, they ought to be prepared with extra staffing to provide service that supports the pricing. Long waits for check-in check/out, no clean towels ink pool area. I am not sure what the daily resort fee is for, but it does not include much. Other resorts include far more for the same or less price. The surrounding area has virtually no stores etc within walking distance. The pool areas are much too crowded, and at a certain time, there are no beach chairs available. It seems they overbook for the facilities. The food is grossly overpriced, and it’s not even that good at any of the hotel restaurants. The only positive that I have is that the room was pretty clean.I would not rebook here. We can stay in North Beach. There is a resort there that includes many more amenities without being so overbooked and overpriced.

Stayed here for spring break and enjoyed the experience! Came with my family of 3 teenage girls and the oldest, 16, enjoyed it the best. A bit pricey such as just an umbrella for the beach was $26 but you have to realize you are at a famous hotel right on the Miami Beach. Only problem was valet was slow around dinner time if you were getting your vehicle back and finding chairs at the pool was hard. Also expected night swimming and the gym to be 24 hours but that was not the case. Overall though, had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

I have been at this hotel at least 4 times with my parents. The last time we went - this past week, I felt so many things could have been better if they care more about the hospitality than the money. To go to the beach, now it is charged $25 dollars to get umbrellas - it is the own hotel chairs and umbrellas. Moreover, since the hotel was full, we also had a hard time at the pool. With the amount of chairs being less than what the hotel has capacity for their guests, we looked for a place to sit for at least 35 minutes. After I found a place to sit - a chair, I once asked for the towels and an umbrella since it was at least 87F. Once again, we had to wait for it, which was fine if it was for 5 minutes staining on the sun and not 15/20 - since the people that work at the pool could only say there were no availability and could not do anything. - while there were many chairs with no guests and only with towels. After that, my family and I had to do the “hard work” to look for an umbrella since my uncle who was more than 60 years old could not stay at the sun. The good things was the cleaning, the pool bar (the music was amazing with live music) the breakfast was good as well! I am so disappointed since it was my family favorite place to stay everything time we come to Miami.Thank you, and I hope this can help the next guests with any concerns :)

Hotel is beautiful but they lie about a lot of the things offered for hotel guest. We had an ocean view room but it was very small. During check out they let you put your bags in a refreshment lounge until your ready to leave but the refreshment lounge lockers do not work, the card for the door doesn’t work, called guest services multiple times and they told us they were coming down and still didn’t come. All of the employees must have been trained differently because everyone says different things when it’s time to ask questions which made it very difficult. I would not recommend this hotel.

I never visit anywhere else but the Fontainebleau, this is the most amazing hotel in Miami. The service is impeccable. I’m a beach girl and they have an exclusive beach section where they have amazing servers who go above and beyond. I was so fortunate to have Sabrin as my server she truly made my time unforgettable. If you so go please ask for her she will ensure you have an amazing experience.

Love the hotel and the pool. Check in was fast and they were able to give us a room way before check in time and it was so helpful after our long overnight flight from CA. Really appreciated the check in staff!!This is my third time staying here and I tried other hotels in Miami and I still love it here. Room was clean, people were nice, very nice and big pool. Very easy access to the beach and beach was beautiful!A big shout out to the pool staff, we encountered some issues with getting a bed at the pool and pool staff went above and beyond to make sure we got the bed and checked in with us every 20 mins. Also, the bar staff were very friendly as well. Thank you! The breakfast buffet was great and lots of food!Overall, I highly recommended this hotel and will definitely come back the next time. Thank you Fontainebleau !

Our room was terrible. It looked old, it was not cleaned properly, the windows were stained so you could barely see outside, outdated. The amenities inside the room are a joke. Dust, crusts, and hair everywhere, disgusting. (As you can see in the pictures) and I took these pictures literally as soon as we entered the room. They try to squeeze the last penny from you. You have a chair included with your room but not an umbrella at the beach, and once you're there, you can not see anything because the view of the water is blocked by all the cabanas in front of you. The servers are great and very nice. Of course drinks are very expensive and tips are included in your bill. The pools are very nice and there's music always which is nice for me.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The rooms were fine but have an older look to them which is part of the hotel vibe.Food and drinks were very expensive.Free Banana boat rides was great for the kids.

What a letdown! The atmosphere was tense right from the start, with a guy at the front desk loudly accusing the staff of stealing his girlfriend’s phone. Both checking in and out were nightmares, taking over an hour each due to the long lines. To make matters worse, the location isn’t convenient either, being a 20-minute Uber ride from Ocean Drive, where all the decent restaurants are. The room’s amenities were disappointing, especially the fridge, which was off-limits for personal items due to sensor charges — touch anything, and you’re billed, even if you put it back immediately. The place feels overwhelmingly money-hungry, charging 5-star prices without delivering the luxury or cleanliness expected. The room was not only dirty but also felt outdated. And the balcony? Don’t get me started. If someone from the next room steps out, it’s as if they’re joining you on yours. No privacy whatsoever. This hotel is far from what it claims to be.

The property is lovely here (as should be expected for the high price). The pools are varied in temperature and weren't too busy and the room was spacious and well-appointed for a longer stay.Unfortunately, Jean (working evening shift on June 20) was exceptionally rude and refused to assist in rectifying a billing error his team had made.Thankfully, a pleasant woman at the Tresor Tower desk working the same shift set it right for us which was much appreciated. The arrangements when booking rooms through air bnb instead of the hotel are a little confusing.Otherwise, hotel amenities, beach, food etc, are all of a high standard, the views are lovely and other shopping and amenities are in easy walking distance.

Zoë — Google review

The staff was very helpful and polite and of course the location is beautiful right on the beach. The beds are comfortable. The rooms however was a bit of disappointment in that they had a dirty feel to them and needed to be remodeled. The bathroom seat felt cheap and wobbly, and the bathroom door would hit the shower door if not opened carefully. They should think about getting sliding bathroom doors. The bathroom is small and was not cleaned properly. The room didn't match the vibe of the lobby and pool area...Once I got to my room, it felt as if I was at a hotel a notch above Quality Inn. They have the sensored tray with snacks on them, so don't bring younger kids. I didn't have an issue with the sensor tray, but a family with young children might. OVERALL GRADE C.

This wasn't a planned trip for us at all. We ended up getting caught in Hurricane Debbie. We were staying at the Isla Bella Resort in Marathon. Our flight got canceled in Key West. We booked a flight the next day and started heading from Key West to Miami. We had recommendations to stay at this hotel. I will tell you that if you're looking for something remote this hotel isn't it. Definitely a lot of people here. Flashy and super high end. They do have specular views and right on the water. Lots of places to shop, and eat! The pools are quite the view. Not my type of area but it was nice for what it was. I wouldn't stay here again just too busy for what I'm looking for when we take a vacation!! Great service and food.

This hotel is next level! A mall inside a hotel experience. Very luxurious with a lot of activity. Concerts are held here as well. It's a great location in South BeachAnd typical Miami vibe.I ate at the Arcadia Grill and had the most wonderful bar tender. People were so friendly too, I sat next to very interesting and fun people.I had a taste for pizza (the bar tendered recommended the one I ordered) and dry martini. There is plenty of room for dining and the menu offers a nice variety.Really can't go wrong staying here is you like a lot of action combined with luxury!

I recently stayed at the hotel for a business trip with a large group and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.I booked a standard room and was encouraged to pay for an upgrade to an oceanview room. While the room itself was fine, I later discovered that several of my colleagues received rooms with balconies, Jacuzzis, and ocean views at no additional cost. When I approached the front desk to discuss this, the response I received was disappointing: "We didn't force you to pay for the room." While this is technically true, it felt dismissive and did not address my concerns or provide a resolution. I believe better communication and support could have significantly improved my experience.
