Anything to dislike about this game? All reviews I've seen in YouTube are generally positives.

It's terrible. Controls like crap. Great idea in theory but sucks.

This is one of the worst aiming controls I've ever seen in a modern day game. It's SO bad.

Did you play Everreach?

The only game in my 36 years where I actually stopped playing because the controls were SO bad.

I bought it on PC for about $1.50 (had a coupon to take it down from $4). Could it be better in controls to characters to enemies? Yes. But for what it is, it's enjoyable. I played this AFTER I played Returnal which is a better game 100% but that doesnt take away from this go at a third person shooter. I think $6 is too much. I think under $4 is good but I'm splitting hairs.

I was going to say this gave me a Returnal vibe. Shame that folks are saying that this is bad - there should be more good games like Returnal.

I think a second one could turn out to be great with the right support and direction.

I bought this on Playstation earlier this year. Is it revolutionary? no. While it may LOOK like Returnal, it plays nothing like it in my opinion. It also has pretty terrible save locations - could be a bit more tactful. I'm not one to enjoy playing the same parts of a game over and over - the way the difficulty ramps up in parts, you may find yourself doing this. It's a fairly generic shooter that may be fun to play for a bit between games. With its full play time being less than 10hrs, it's worth exploring if you have nothing better to do. I think the mediocre reviews are pretty on-par from my experience.

Thanks for the heads up. I had that in the cart with with Soma and System Shock since it was $2.50 but something about the trailer just looked "off". I also get wary when a game is half a decade old but I've never seen anyone mention it before.

Sure thing - there's a good game somewhere in there, but the controller input lag was infuriating, and no amount of tweaking settings got it close to playable for me. For $2.50, could be worth the risk (maybe the input delay isn't a deal-breaker for everyone). I'm a casual gamer and even for me and my relaxed expectations, it was.

Had a great time for the first three hours. After that, the game recycles enemies, bosses, and bad loot. Once you get to the final mission, it makes you backtrack through every boring level you already went through to find some items you have to bring back. I couldn't finish it, so dull. If this game was free, I'd recommend it. I played it on PC.
